Looks good. Something to try if I’m planning for a marketing campaign. Did you experience any objections while promoting by an auto-DM?

No I didn’t get any objection. Click on the image to see how many clicks I got for DM. I had 300+ followers at that time. The conversation rate is really good. I advice you to use it whenever possible

Its really nice to use campaigns to socialize your blog. But using affiliates link is not a good option.
Otherwise, I like the concept , Ricky.

I know many people won’t find it appropriate to market as they don’t like to flood via DM. But it is still a good option. If you use it smartly it will definitely help you in long term

Affiliate link is just an example. You can use it to promote your product or providing some discount and lot more…. Glad to hear that you liked the concept.

Thanks for the great write-up. Contests are a great use of our tool. The conversion rate when using our service is over 33%.
As you mentioned, you don’t want to spam your followers. If you have good content to share with them, it will be well received. If not, well…then it won’t be, no matter what the delivery method.
Let us know if you have any suggestions. http://getsatisfaction.com/publicitweet

Hi Ricky,
Thanks for the post, I heard about this tool before but I wasn’t sure how it worked. Looks pretty easy, but I’d like to know if they have this feature. Now that we all have twitter lists, can we send the DM only to those on one of the lists. For example, I put all of my BlogEngage followers into a list and it would be cool to send them a DM about a contest or asking for a vote on a new article that I have submitted.
I think I will head over to the get satisfaction link from their comment to see if this is available. http://getsatisfaction.com/publicitweet
Thanks for having such good information on your blog. I will vote for you!

I am not sure about the list feature in publicitweet but you can create your own list by entering the user name (just like you do in twitter list feature). It means that you can create a blogengage list in publicitweet and target them for your upcoming contest and voting

Just a heads up that we’re working on integrating Twitter lists into our groups feature. One caveat is that Twitter lists can contain users who don’t follow you. PubliciTweet groups don’t allow this. We’ll probably just allow you to “import” any list (yours or others) and we’ll weed out anyone who’s not following you.
If you’re interested in knowing when this is available you can subscribe to this topic:
